What Is A Good Beginner Class For World Of Warcraft?

World of Warcraft has had two decades of history to welcome recent players. Unfortunately, many players uncover the modern game a bit difficult to get into. Oftentimes this is due to the large number of classes and specs available, which often grant a bit of choice paralysis to newer players who aren't sure what to go with.

1 - Why are Paladins and Druids so popular? Do people really think church and hippies are cool these days?

2 - Why are Warlocks and Rogues so unpopular? When did bad boys go out of fashion?

3 - How in the Fel are Demon Hunters more popular than Warlocks? I can’t say curse words in the forums so I’m gonna say a bunch of Warlock curses instead:

As classic realm info went down and has been down for a good few days now I’d like to ask you people

What are the most played classes currently and the most you see?
Personally mages and warriors obviously with huntards as a 3rd which I find weird… I see awfully few rogues

There are statistics on this from Classic already. The answer is that Mage and Warrior are clearly the most popular with Warrior slightly ahead. The rest of the classes are really close except for Hunter being more popular on Alliance and Druid in general being easily the least played.
