The World God Only Knows (2010)
Information
Description
Katsuragi Keima is known on the internet for being able to steal every girl’s heart. But only in dating sims, because in reality, he is known as “Otamegane” and is far from interested in girls, just as little as they are interested in him. But one day, Elsee, a female devil from hell, comes to him and demands that he help her capture spirits that have escaped from hell. If Keima fails to catch all of them, he would lose his head. Apparently, these ghosts hide in girls’ hearts and only come out when the girl falls in love.

Ansche
Rarely perform I finish a manga and feel wholly satisfied. I don’t know if it’s the norm for long running serializations, prefer for example Katekyo Hitman Reborn, but their eventual endings attend to range from mediocre to downright dissatisfying. This is especially unfortunate because some manga begin off strong only to pass away off with a whimper. The manga I mentioned above, Katekyo, was one such manga.
The past week has seen me binge reading different series, some distant and some short. One manga called Wolf guy started off brilliantly but ended in a way that left me annoyed. That annoyance was what led me to reread one of my favorite series – The World God Only Knows.
This manga is so. damn. satisfying. From the storytelling to the execution to the ending, it’s enjoy the universe just knew what I needed. I believe this is my second time reading it but it didn’t matter because I couldn’t recall much of the major plot points, I felt like I was like discovering it for the first time.
Story
The advantage of a being a popular, serialized manga is having the ability to flesh out the story as they see fit. While it might be unfair, a system that

Nah. No more warnings. I gave up on that biz. I am a bit late to blog this as well. And, it is the final chapter of my most favorite series of all time… Not gonna cry… Not… Gonna…

My favorite series!!!!!!!! Huuuuuuuuuuuuu~~~~~~~~ :(((
Well, all great things have to end. IMO, if this series pushed forward for some yay time, it would lose it touch. Better off to end it now than see it crumble as it moves on. SEQUEL PLEASE. That’s different from continuing the series. XD
Before anything else, I’d like to remind everyone of the original premise of TWGOK, and that was about a gal-gamer using his honed gal-gaming skills to capture the hearts of girls filled with runaway spirits lurking in the gaps of their hearts. And ultimately, it was a story of an introverted gamer’s character development from hating the real to accepting the real, and ultimately, a 3D girl.
Now, to the destiny! The ending! XD
But first, RECAP:
Keima’s woken up after the day of his return. Elsie’s last wish to Keima was to be a legit part of his family, now living as Eri Katsuragi, Keima’s legit imouto. Haqua and Nora

— Keima Katsuragi
Keima Katsuragi is famous on the Internet as "The God of Conquest": there is no Dating Sim that he cannot beat, no heroine whose heart he cannot conquer. However, in Real Life, he's an introverted and unpopular OtakuJerkass who hates all real girls and buries himself in video games.
One day, he receives a provocative email asking for help in conquering some hearts. He rises to the challenge, inadvertently making a Deal with the Devil to help Elsie, a lesser devil from Hell, re-capture some runaway spirits. These spirits hide in the hearts of troubled girls, and the easiest way to force them out is to have the girl fall in love. If he fails, then it's Off with His Head! Thus begins Keima's daunting task, which throws him deep into exactly what he's been dismissing: Real Life, and more importantly, real girls.
The series' main purpose is poking fun at different aspects of Dating Sims (or "Gal Games") and playing with various heroine archetypes, usually by setting up a

It's funny how trends, tastes, and even perceptions can change over time. Less than a decade ago being called a geek, nerd or otaku was considered an insult, and while those terms have maintained their derogatory status to a degree (especially in Japan), the steady march of technology has dictated the rise of the "Beta Male", and nowhere is this more apparent than in the entertainment industries.
In 2001 the PC and Dreamcast game Comic Party was adapted and released as an anime, and with it came the birth of a totally new genre - the otaku comedy. Since that time there have been numerous manga ...and anime that have utilised the theme in some manner, from the romanticised look at otaku life that is Genshiken, to the insane classical stylings of Nodame Cantabile's heroine, Noda Megumi. These days the number of titles that have some involvement with the genre is on the rise, and while some take a decidedly rose-tinted view of the subject, there are others (NHK ni Youkoso!, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu (no, seriously), ChäoS;HEAd, etc), that allow glimpses into
