Monster Hunter World Plunderers Blade: how to get the Plunderblade, the best Palico Gadget for farming loot
While you're sure to invest a lot of your age in Monster Hunter World worrying about your hunter's gear such as your choice of weapon and which the best armor is for any given occasion, there is another side to gear in the new world: Palico Gear and Palico Gadgets. These make a difference to your feline friend in battle, and one of the most useful is the Plunderblade - an incredible little palico gadget that will seriously help you out with the loot and drop grind for items.

We've already produced a number of pages all about how to farm for some of Monster Hunter World's best items in order to help craft some of those absolutely essential gear upgrades for ensuring your survival against even the most brutal of monsters - but in almost all of those instances, equipping your Palico with the Plunder Blade (also recognizable as the Plunderer's Blade) before you head out there will make a huge difference and make those difficult drops more likely.

Monster Hunter World: How To Get And Use The Plunderblade
Even if you don't want to team up with other players, you're never completely on your own when you take on a hunt in Monster Hunter World thanks to your trusty palico sidekick. This feline friend will be with you through thick and thin, standing by your side as you take on foes orders of magnitude larger than either of you, so you should do what you can to outfit them with the best gear you can. Aside from weapons and armor, you can equip them with a special piece of equipment that gives you some form of buff. The Plunderblade is considered by many to be the best in the game, so getting into into the hands, or paws, of your palico early is essential.
Where To Find The Plunderblade In Monster Hunter World
Finding the Plunderblade requires you to first go through the game's main story at least through the 14th assigned quest, Into the Bowels of the Vale, where you will gain access to the lower areas in the Rotten Vale. Once you can venture into this zone, head to area 13 and find the Lynian Researcher - make sure you bring at least a few pieces of raw meat with you. Speak to them, then leave the area for a minute o
Monster Hunter: World farming guide: Getting the plunderblade
Monster Hunter: World gives you a ride-or-die (ride-or-faint?) companion in your palico. While you build yourself increasingly devastating weapons, you’ll also craft new weapons and armor for your palico (our favorite is the ladybug outfit because, come on).
Your palico deploys a piece of equipment during a fight. By default, your palico will use a vigorwasp spray, which provides a welcome healing boost. As you become more comfortable with the game and hunting monsters becomes less taxing, you might want to swap out that vigorwasp spray for a more specialized tool.
We’ve already discussed the other equipment you can find for your palico, but this guide is going to focus on finding what we’d argue is the most useful: the plunderblade. The plunderblade lets your palico gather extra monster parts during a fight, cutting down the time it takes for you to craft your next set of armor or that shiny new weapon.
Finding the plunderblade
To find the plunderblade, you’ll first have to find and befriend the Plunderers of the Rotte
1- Complete the assigned quest "Into the Bowels of the Vale", or you won't be able to access lower areas of the Rotten Vale.
2- Have some raw meat in your inventory.
3- Go to area 13, look for the researcher (green dot).
4- After you speak with him, go away for about 30 seconds.
5- An Odogaron will drag a corpse here, you don't have to fight him (don't even try).
6- Go back to researcher, you'll see a Plunderer on the way. It'll run away. Talk to the researcher.
7- Go to area 15, follow the Plunderer icon. It'll run off again. Leave some meat on wherever it was standing then back off to the cave to watch.
8- Plunderers will eat the meat, talk to them afterwards and they'll reward you with Plunderblade (probably the greatest gadget for farming). Denunciar esta mensagem
